Sonny has been an integral part of the Liverpool FC International Academy since 2021, where he coaches within the Reds Futsal Academy. He has also contributed significantly to the Reds Junior Academy and Mini Reds programs, helping to create an engaging and supportive environment for young soccer players to thrive.

In addition to his role with LFC, Sonny brings a wealth of experience from his broader coaching career. He began coaching in 2019 with Michigan Revolution and has since gained extensive experience across various levels. Since 2020, he has coached semi-professionally every year, including two years with the Michigan Stars FC men’s U23 team and, more recently, with Liquid Football in the MWPL. His professional experience also includes serving as an assistant manager for the Michigan Stars FC in NISA.

Sonny has also coached at the NCAA Division I level, spending a year as an assistant coach for the men’s team at the University of Detroit Mercy and currently serving as an assistant coach for the Oakland University women’s team.
