April 16, 2025 by Kathy Judge

April is Coach Appreciation Month! We want to recognize and celebrate the incredible dedication and impact of our coaches. They work tirelessly to help our players grow on and off the field—and now, it’s our turn to show our appreciation!

We’re inviting all players and families to fill out a short Coach Appreciation Form to share a message of thanks or a special memory about their coach. Whether it’s a few words or a heartfelt paragraph, we’d love to hear it!

You’ll also have the option to upload up to 5 photos with your submission—game moments, team shots, or fun memories with your coach are all welcome!

Please use the link below to recognize your coach by Wednesday, April 30. (Please do not send submissions or photos by email.) We’ll do our best to feature as many entries as possible on our social media channels throughout the month. If we can’t share every message online, rest assured that all submissions will be featured here on our website.

LFC Mens to Return to USA on Tour

Liverpool FC will return to the USA this summer for a pre-season tour, facing off against Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Reds will come up against Arsenal at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 31.

That game will be followed by a clash with Manchester United at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina on August 3.

“We are proud to announce our highly anticipated return to the USA, providing a great environment for the squad to prepare for the season ahead,” said Ben Latty, the club’s commercial director.

“Pre-season tours always present exceptional opportunities for our supporters, the team and our official partners to engage in memorable experiences within a key focus market for the club.

“We know millions of super-passionate American fans love this club and what we stand for, a fact underlined when our televised game with Arsenal in December became the most-watched Premier League game in US history.

“The USA is an important market for the club and our partners; with 67 official supporters clubs, international academies across 12 states, and the USA being the number one international market for our merchandising business.

“We eagerly await the opportunity to bring the club closer to the fans and look forward to playing in these iconic venues.”

A pre-sale code will be available for LFC Official Members, season ticket holders, official LFC supporters clubs, hospitality members and international academies. This can be used to purchase tickets from 2pm GMT/9am EST/6am PST on Monday February 26.

Supporters can register their interest from today here. Relevant parties will also be contacted directly by the club.

US Representative Teams complete UK tour

September 21, 2023 by Kathy Judge

More than 70 youngsters from across North America had a summer to remember having enjoyed an incredible summer tour in the UK.

Four teams of youngsters, selected from LFC International Academies (LFC IA) across the US, were invited to take part in the first ever LFC International Academy US representative team tour.

The seven-day trip included an LFC training camp at the club’s flagship residential venue, as well as an awe-inspiring visit to Anfield. Training alongside their peers from other LFC IAs in the US, the teams then pitted their wits in two friendly games against British opposition.

The girls under 16s and under 14s teams enjoyed fixtures against the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool, while the two boys teams in the same age groups enjoyed games against Liverpool as well as both experiencing games at St Georges Park, home of the England football team, against Burton Albion.

Reflecting on the tour, Dan White, Vice President of LFC International Academies, said: “We were delighted to welcome young players from across North America to spend time with us, giving them the opportunity to experience an LFC training camp right here in the UK.

“It was fantastic to see the youngsters experience Anfield as they toured our iconic home. For many of them, this was their first visit to the stadium and one they will never forget.

“All of the players who attended were a credit to LFC, both in their application to games and training. We had great feedback from coaches and opposition teams and I’m sure the trip has created memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.”

The players who were invited be part of the representative team were done so in recognition of not only their ability, but also their attitude, dedication and ability to demonstrate the LFC core values throughout their time with LFC International Academy.

LFC International Academies offer a range of programs, from camps to elite teams, across the following states and provinces in North America: California, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Texas, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Michigan and Ontario.

Liverpool to step up preparations with ‘super-important’ training camp in Germany

July 14, 2023 by smcgrath

Jürgen Klopp

Liverpool will step up their 2023-24 preparations on Saturday when they head to Germany for a training camp.

The Reds will be based in the southern state of Baden-Württemberg, where they will continue to work towards the start of the new campaign over the course of 10 days.

Liverpool will also face Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth in friendly fixtures.

Jürgen Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: “[It will be] super-important. Super, super-important. We have a lot of sessions there, not a lot of spare time, I would say. Two games, one in the middle, one at the end. Yeah, very important.

“So, there are now not too many new players but [we have] a lot of young players, of course, in and young players for who the door is open, who can play a different role next season. They are all a year older, looking really good – Conor Bradley looking really good, Ben Doak really good, Bobby Clark grew somehow, which is normal!

“They all can play a slightly different role if they want and yeah, how I said, there is an open door for that.

After returning to the UK, Liverpool will head out to Singapore later in the week, where they will take on Leicester City and Bayern Munich.

The Reds’ final summer game will be against SV Darmstadt 98 at Deepdale on August 7.

Liverpool FC Women complete signing of Mia Enderby

July 14, 2023 by smcgrath

Mia Enderby signs a contract to complete a move to Liverpool FC Women

Liverpool FC Women have completed the signing of Mia Enderby.

The 18-year-old forward joins the Reds after spending two seasons with Sheffield United Women, having come through the Leeds United Regional Talent Centre.

During her time with the Blades, Enderby scooped the Young Player of the Year award while becoming a regular in the FA Women’s Championship, scoring nine goals last season.

She has also earned international recognition with England up to U19 level.

“It’s like a dream come true,” Enderby told Liverpoolfc.com. “Ever since I was young I’ve wanted to play in the WSL.

“When I used to talk to my mum, I’d say all I wanted to be was a footballer and my dream was to become the best I can be for my club and my country.

“I’m just really honoured and really pleased and it’s a big moment for me and my family.”

Enderby can play on either wing or through the middle and is hopeful her versatility will prove a major asset to the Reds.

“I’m a fast, creative player, I like to get forward, I like to beat defenders,” the No.13 continued.

“I like to score – it’s what forwards do – and I really enjoy assisting other people as well, so hopefully I can bring that into my games.

“Throughout youth levels I’ve always played in different areas of the pitch so I think that’s really important because that can influence my game.

“Obviously they’ve got loads of brilliant players here but hopefully I can add more goals and assists and help the team.

“I want to be the best player I can be, learn from the experienced players here and hit the ground running once I get my minutes.”

LFC Women manager Matt Beard is excited to land his third signing of the summer transfer window, adding: “Mia is a very, very exciting young talent.

“Obviously with us being in the Championship when she was breaking into the team a couple of years ago at the age of 16, she’s a player we’ve been monitoring.

“She’s definitely a player who will excite the fans, she’s direct, she’s quick and she can score all types of goals.

“We’re really excited because she has the potential to be one of the best and we’re really excited she’s chosen to come here.

“From conversations with Mia and watching her play she’s got no fear and I’m confident she’ll take the move in her stride.

“There are a lot of players here with a lot of experience who she can draw upon, seek advice from and learn from.

“Knowing Mia, she’ll be wanting to get in the team and knock them off their perch, but she’s got a great platform here to learn from.”
