About the Role
Are you passionate about soccer? Do you enjoy working with young players and want to inspire the next generation of soccer talent? Liverpool FC International Academy Michigan is seeking enthusiastic, part-time Youth Soccer Coaches to join our Mini Reds and Reds Junior Academy (RJA) programs. These programs are designed to develop players ages 4-12 through 5- and 6-week training sessions that focus on fundamental soccer skills in a fun, supportive environment.

As a Youth Soccer Coach, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Plan and lead age-appropriate training sessions that align with LFC’s coaching philosophy.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills to young players, fostering their love for the game.
- Build a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.

ANN ARBOR COACH & GIRLS’ DEVELOPMENT LEAD
POSITION: Soccer Coach & Girls’ Development Lead
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, Michigan
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Year-Round
COMPENSATION: Competitive, commensurate with experience and licensing.
Overview
Liverpool FC International Academy Michigan’s Ann Arbor site is actively seeking a qualified and passionate coach to join our staff. This role involves coaching 3-4 teams while leading the pre-academy phase development program on the girls’ side. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse coaching staff that reflects the players we serve. Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple teams and programs, demonstrating excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Identify and nurture emerging talent, creating pathways for player progression within the club.
- Work collaboratively with coaches, club staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and positive player experience.
- Organize and effectively communicate schedules, events, and updates to players and parents.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a positive and professional environment.
- Represent LFC Michigan at community events and club initiatives, promoting our mission and values.
Player Development
- Mentor and guide young female athletes, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
- Develop and execute age-appropriate training sessions focused on technical, tactical, physical, and mental development.
- Encourage sportsmanship, fair play, and team spirit through soccer.
- Evaluate and monitor player progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and individualized development plans.
- Oversee the younger Girls’ side of the club, including Reds Junior Academy and Mini Reds programs.
- Ensure programs align with club goals and Liverpool FC’s development philosophy.
- A genuine passion for developing young athletes and fostering their love for the game.
Coaching Experience
- Proven experience in youth soccer coaching, with a focus on girls’ player development.
- Relevant coaching licenses (e.g., USSF D license or equivalent) required; willingness to pursue further education and certification.
Start Date
- June 1, 2025, or earlier based on mutual agreement with the successful candidate.

Job Title: Soccer Coach/Assistant Coach – U9 Boys
Location: Hartland, MI
Position Type: Part-Time, Full-Year Commitment
Liverpool FC International Academy Michigan is seeking a passionate and experienced Soccer Coach/Assistant Coach to join our team and lead our U9 boys’ program. If you’re enthusiastic about youth development and have experience managing young players and engaging with parent groups, this opportunity may be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and run engaging and developmentally appropriate training sessions
- Coach and manage games effectively, including scheduling and coordination
- Provide clear communication with parents to foster a positive team environment
- Assist with player development strategies and tracking progress
- Support the club’s mission and values through professionalism and teamwork
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum Grassroots Coaching License; D License preferred
- 1-2 years of coaching experience with youth teams
- Strong organizational skills, especially in managing young players and parent interactions
- Ability to manage team scheduling and coordinate with league and club guidelines
Compensation: $35/hour
