Manuel grew up in Romania and got acquainted with soccer early on in life as his father was a semi-pro goalkeeper, as well as a referee. He grew up through the academies of League A, FCM Brasov and League C, IMASA Sf. Gheorghe, ultimately securing a full scholarship at Rochester College (now Rochester University) in Rochester Hills, MI.

Manuel is in his 4th year of coaching as Boys Varsity Head Coach for Summit Soccer Club in Romeo, MI, and has led the team to a State Championship title and a National Championship title in 2022. At Summit Soccer Club, Manuel is also the Assistant Coach for the Girls Varsity team.

Qualifications:

USSF National C Coaching License
Performance Analysis Level-1 Diploma from ISPAS (International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport) through USC (United Soccer Coaches)
Certified Referee
