Our mentorship initiative, launched in 2022, has proven to be a tremendous success in fostering connections between our seasoned soccer players and the future stars of Liverpool FC IA Michigan Girls program.
Throughout the five-week program which spans from late fall through early winter, girls from the older age groups generously volunteer their time to attend training sessions with the younger girls. They actively participate in coaching, playing alongside, and engaging with the younger girls, creating an enriching and fun environment for skill development and camaraderie.
We take pride in witnessing the genuine interactions and the formation of friendships and mentor-mentee relationships. The program not only benefits the younger players but also holds significant advantages for our older players. As they contribute to the growth of the next generation, they gain valuable leadership skills, experience personal and professional development, and create memorable experiences for themselves and their younger peers.
We are proud to continue building a strong community of passionate and dedicated soccer players, where every player has the opportunity to give back, create positive memories, and contribute to the success of Liverpool FC IA Michigan Girls. Together, we’re not just developing soccer skills; we’re fostering a supportive and empowering environment for players of all ages.
Fall Fest Weekend
“Our Girls Fall Fest was November 21-23, 2024. It kicked off on Thursday with our younger girls teams creating posters and friendship bracelets for our 2007 ECNL team last home game of the year. On Saturday, our younger girls came out to cheer on the 2007 team who won 1-0 in the final minute against FC Wisconsin.
“We believe in building strong connections between our oldest female teams and our girls youth teams by providing female role models who have gone through our pathway or have come to us from different journeys. These connections can aspire the next generation of female leaders and athletes which is important in youth development.
“You’ll Never Walk Alone!”

“BE empoweRED” Girls Only Soccer Clinic
Reds Events hosted its second “Girls Only Clinic” on January 20th, 2025. Girls from ages 6-12 came out to UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac to improve both their soccer and life skills with an all female staff.
Thank you to all the campers and staff who made our event a huge success! It was amazing to see the girls learning, growing, and truly appreciating being the focus of the day. From building positive habits to mastering self-talk and teamwork, these young athletes took big steps both on and off the field. Here’s to empowering the next generation of confident, strong female players! Looking forward to hosting more events like this!
