Tripp started playing rec soccer at the young of three until he was eight years old and moved to CW3 Extreme Select Soccer. After two years, he joined Michigan Impact at the age of 10, where he would play until he was 17 years old. In addition to club soccer, Tripp played for his high school Waterford Mott and was a four-year letterman.

Tripp has coached for the LFC North Oakland for seven years while also coaching for Waterford Mott’s JV soccer team in 2016 and Clarkston High School’s JV B team in 2017.
