Simon has been with the club for 10+ seasons, first serving as the Foundation phase Technical director and now is the Youth development phase Technical Director overseeing the U13-U19 age groups. In addition, Simon serves as Senior Technical Director linking all the player-related pathways throughout all our locations and is the direct liaison to Pro MLS Academies.
Simon played high school soccer at Rochester Adams and led them to a State Championship in 1999 and finalist in 2001. Simon was named “Mr. Soccer” Player of the year) and Michigan Soccer Gatorade Player of the year in 2002. During this time, he was also an Olympic Development Player from 1998-2002 and a member of the US Youth U17 National Team from 1998-99. As the #7 prep recruit in the country, he went on to play at Penn State winning a Big Ten Championship and being named first team All-Big Ten twice in 2005 & 2006.
In 2007 Simon was drafted 46th overall by the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. In 2008 Simon went on to play pro soccer in Sweden (Swedish League Champions 2008) and Belgium.
Simon has been a coach/trainer for children and teams ranging from 4-14 years old through various soccer clubs and leagues for many years.

Professional player in Sweden & Belgium
