Mark has been a part of the North Oakland site for several years as a parent of three children that play for the club. He joined the staff in 2023 to coach the 2011 Boys Academy Team.
Mark’s playing days included playing at Warren De La Salle Collegiate High School and starting in two State Championship games. He played at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids and started all four years. Mark also played semi-pro in the USISL with the Grand Rapids Explosion from 1997-1998.
Mark’s previous coaching experience included coaching for West Michigan Fire Juniors from 2000-2006, East Kentwood High School in 2006 and 2007 as an assistant coach, and Michigan Impact from 2007-2011.
