What does it mean to represent Liverpool FC:
“It is a privilege to work with and represent the club I have supported all my life. As a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter, it is a dream come true for me to represent the club I love. LFC has a magnificent history, values, tradition and worldwide supporters. I am excited to bring the passion of the club to my coaching style and to our players in Michigan.
When I was younger I remember watching LFC games with Welsh greats like Ian Rush, Dean Saunders and Graig Bellamy. As I got older, I was lucky to watch LFC history being made with games like the 2005 miracle of Istanbul when Liverpool won the Champions League Final with captain Steven Gerrard leading the team to victory. One of my best memories is going to Anfield with my wife in 2013 to watch Liverpool FC vs Cardiff City FC and watching LFC greats Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Jurgen Klopp.
I look forward to being part of the Liverpool family and coaching ‘The Liverpool Way’ to our players in Michigan. Coaching soccer to our players is more than just learning the game, I believe in the values LFC teaches our players, to be better people in every walk of life. The core values of LFC are ambition, commitment, dignity and unity. No better song represents the club values than ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’”
