Congratulations!  Your player has been selected to play for Liverpool FC International Academy Michigan.

Thank you for choosing us for your child’s soccer development and we look forward to working together over the next 12 months.

Below are important next steps in order to ensure your child’s place on the team roster and get them set up for next season.  You will need to complete the following sections:

  • League Registration
  • Player Contract & Photo
  • Season Registration
  • Uniform Ordering/Jersey Numbers
  • Forms & Waiver
  • International Clearance (if applicable)

Several links will take you to pages outside of our website.  Please be sure to return to this page to complete all the necessary steps.

Step 1 - League Registration

Please complete the League Registration by selecting the appropriate link below (link will direct you to SportsForms).

You should complete only ONE league registration.  If you are not certain which league, please refer to the welcome email from your coach or contact your coach or team manager.

Have player's birth certificate or passport ready to upload, if requested.  (Driver's license and NEXUS ID are not acceptable proof of age.)

>>MSDSL (U7-U12)

>>MSYSA Director's Academy (U11-U12)

>>MSPSP National League Qualifying (U13)

>>MSPSP (U13-U19)

Step 2 - Player Contract & Photo

ALL players must complete the Player Contract below to accept the offer to play for the club during the 2020/21 season.

In addition, NEW PLAYERS need to send in a player photo (headshot).

Use link below to send to oneill.lfcmi@gmail.com.

Step 3 - Season Registration

Please complete the Season Registration on SportsEngine at the link at the bottom of this section.

If you are not logged in to your SportsEngine account, you will need to do so.  If you have not created an account, you can do so now.  Log in is at bottom of this page.

You will need to choose one of the payment options to complete the registration.

We are only accepting credit cards this year (no cash or checks).  SportsEngine charges a credit card processing fee of 2.55% on full amount with the first transaction, plus .50 per transaction.

There are three payment options:

  1. Pay in Full with 2.55% discount
  2. Payment Plan A: Initial deposit of $100, followed by 12 equal payments on the 1st of each month, July through June (Available to all 2014-2007 players).
    • For high school girls (2006-2002), initial deposit of $100, followed by 9 equal payments on the 1st of each month, July through March
    • For high school boys (2006-2002), initial deposit of $100, followed by 9 equal payments on the 1st of each month, October through June
  • Payment Plan B: Initial deposit of $350, followed by 9 equal payments due on the 1st of each month, July through March (Available to all players)

Any questions regarding payment, contact Site Administrator Catherine O'Neill at oneill.lfcmi@gmail.com

Step 4 - Uniform Ordering / Jersey Number

We continue to have the privilege of wearing the LFC kits in competition.  Nike will become LFC’s new kit manufacturer for next season and we will begin a new two-year uniform cycle (except for the LFC red replica kit which changes each year).  Soccer.com will continue to be our uniform supplier.

New players (or returning players who wish to change their jersey number from last year) need to email your site administrator three jersey number preferences.

Soccer.com will send an email to let you know your player’s uniforms are ready to order.  Once you receive that email, you may place your uniform order.  This is a new uniform cycle, so everything will be good for two years (except the Liverpool FC red replica kit, which changes each year).  Soccer.com will require you to order the training kit, Home kit, and Away kit at the same time.  They will allow you to delay ordering the warm-up (top and bottom) and backpack until a later date, if you choose.

Step 5 - Forms & Waiver

Please complete the following forms and give them to your team manager at your first week of training in August.  Note: You do not need a notary on the medical release.

**If you have already signed and returned the club's COVID waiver below as part of the club's Return to Training (R2T), you do not need to do it again.

Step 6 - International Clearance

This step is only for players requiring International Clearance.

Who needs International Clearance?  If player was born outside of the US, regardless of their current citizenship, or they most recently played soccer for a club based outside of the US, and they have not previously received international clearance, please complete the International Clearance application at the link below.

If you have previously completed this process, you do NOT need to do it again.  It is a lifetime clearance.

This International Clearance process can take weeks, so we urge you to make this a priority so that your child’s clearance is completed prior to any games.  MSYSA will not allow your child to be rostered without this clearance.

Questions about this process should be directed to ITC@michiganyouthsoccer.org.

Once you have completed the steps above, you are done with registration.  Thank you!
